At June 18 '2008, PT. Tri Polyta Indonesia Tbk (PT. TPI) conducted an one-day-seminar named “ICP Market Trend and Application Technology”. This seminar was held at Ballroom 3A and B The Ritz-Carlton Hotel – Pacific Place, Sudirman Jakarta. This seminar was used as a forum to united TPI's customer as a Impact Copolymer Polypropylene's (ICP) user and also as a Trilene ICP's promotional media. Seminar, that is lead by Mr. Edi Rivai as a Head of TSPD and MRIS, was filled up by presentation series from ICP material manufacturer, polymer additives manufacturer, and injection molding machine manufacturer; and been attended by 148 participant from 72 processing industries, user, and ICP's developing company from various region in Indonesia.

Mr. Iman Sucipto Umar, PT. TPI's CEO, open this one-day-seminar with an opening speech which is implied by concise information about ICP material demand condition and market prospect of this material in this high-crude-oil-price condition. Moreover, this information was explained more detail in “Polypropylene Market Trend” a presentation by Mr. Suyatno from Marketing Research and Information Support (MRIS) department - PT. TPI.

Dr. Asmu Wahyu, Head of Technical Qualilty PT TPI, give a presentation titled “Trilene PP Impact Copolymer Technology” to give a clearer view about technology and production process of ICP material to the participant. In the next presentation, Technical Manager of Milliken Asia, Mr. Kok Bun Heh, and from Clariant additives manufacturer, Mr. Ernesto Dongiovanni, continue this seminar series with presentation from polymer additives aspect titled “Hi Performance Clarifying and Nucleating Agent” and “Polymer Additives and Stabilizers”.

After have a nice lunch, Mr. Thomas Dietl from injection molding machine manufacturer Krauss Maffei give presentation about newest injection molding technology titled “Krauss Maffei is a Premium Partner for Plastic and Rubber Technology”. Then, this presentation series was ended by presentation from Mr. Suharso from Product Development PT. TPI about aplication Trilene ICP titled “PP Impact Copolymer and Applications”.

To summarized, from polling result that has been completed by the participant, 88% seminar participant respond this seminar positively. They hope that this kind of seminar and technical cooperations can be accomplished continually with another newest applicative & interesting topic.
